DJ Business and Fundraising

DJ's are highly involved in music and technology.  I have been running a DJ business, though with less than state-of the art gear, though with basic lighting and effects.  I would love to integrate laser lights and digitized music into my act, but I'm seriously using the lowest tech possible gear and I just have to play the songs straight and boring.  To get better gear, and for others who would like to become DJ's but maybe aren't rich enough to afford the giant digital turntables and such, crowdfunding could help us out.  I made a crowdfunding page: www.gofundme.com/pleasehelp-fundmybusiness, and this could help to afford major technologicl advances in my DJing.  I would love to masterfully mix the playback of my songs, like I hear other DJ's do, it sounds so cool when they mix up the music and add effects and I just wonder how they can even do that.  I'm sure I can learn this art with the right equipment and effort.  Mix on fellow DJ's, mix on, I'll be in the game before ya know it.
